First off, I love Firefly. Probably the best show ever made, and so I always wanted to do actual fanart. This is my first for Firefly, so i hope it looks ok.

and yes, this is my pathetic attempt at actual drawing. Although I love to do it, it doesnt turn out very... anyways, I had alot of fun with this.

I do like how the ship and Mal turned out. I just dont like the faces of Jayne and Zoe...might fix later...

please give me suggestions on how I can do better next time. also, this is the first part of it. I want to now add the rest of the crew in (Its going to be a tight fit!) but I wanted to upload it like this just in case i mess up the picture and stuff.

anyways, if your still reading this, you should be like, my friend, and we can hang out and make cookies and stuff.

I'm your friend already, but you're in freaking Oregon (or Idaho, sometimes), and I'm in Colorado, so the hanging out thing just doesn't work. =p Besides, all that time that we did hang out, and we never baked cookies! I'm unloved, unloved I tell you! :cry:

The only thing I can say regarding crit on this piece is to keep proportions in mind. The guy on the left (I don't know names, sorry!) has an absolutely massive forearm, and his fist is bigger than his face. Full hand length should spread from chin to hairline, so the fist should naturally be smaller. He also kinda looks like a monkey since his mouth is pushed out so far. =p

For the woman, it looks like her breast should be connected to the neck! If she's really as well-endowed as you drew her, she'd hang lower. There should also be more shape than just a semi-circular lump. The arm and hand holding the gun came out really well though, compliments!

Great detail on the ship, no crits there!

I love Firefly. I just finished watching the series all the way through + Serenity on DVD. Me and my brother really enjoyed it. :D

You can watch full episodes of Firefly on Veoh.com if you don't have the DVD sets :w00t: , but Serenity is only on DVD.

Oh by the way, there's a funny directv ad on tv now with Dulé Hill who plays Gus on "Psych" and Alan Tudyk who plays "Wash" on Firefly. :lmao:

One of my professors was asking about Firefly. I forgot to tell him you can watch it on Veoh or Hulu for free. :D

Yeah! I just got them a little while ago. There so awesome! Literally if there was one canceled show that I would give anything to come back, it would be firefly without question.
